Rep AI is built by Ohms Labs. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles your data.

Data We Collect

Rep AI offers an optional account feature that allows you to back up your workout history to the cloud. If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address solely to authenticate you and enable this feature. This is the only personal data we collect.

How We Use Your Email Address

Your email address is used only to create and manage your Rep AI account. It is not used for marketing, advertising, or shared with any third party.

Firebase

Account authentication and cloud backup are powered by Google Firebase, a third-party service provided by Google LLC. Firebase may process your email address as part of authentication. You can review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

On-Device AI Processing

All pose detection and form analysis is performed entirely on your device using on-device machine learning. No video, images, or camera data is ever recorded, stored, or sent to any server. Your camera feed is processed in real time and immediately discarded.

Local Data Storage

If you do not create an account, your workout history, streak data, and app preferences are stored locally on your device only and never leave your phone.

No Analytics or Tracking

Rep AI does not use any analytics services, crash reporting tools, or tracking technologies. We do not track your usage, behaviour, or location.

No Advertising

Rep AI does not display any advertisements and does not share data with any advertising networks.

Camera

Rep AI uses your device camera solely to detect body pose in real time during workouts. Camera access is required for the app to function. No video or images are recorded, saved, or transmitted at any point.

Data Retention

We retain data only to the minimum extent necessary to provide the app's features. The following table describes exactly what we retain and for how long:

• Email address (account users only): Retained for as long as your Rep AI account is active. Permanently and irrecoverably deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Cloud workout backup data (account users only): Retained for as long as your Rep AI account is active. Permanently and irrecoverably deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Camera data / video: Never retained. Your camera feed is processed in real time on-device only and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. Zero retention.
• Pose / form analysis data: Never retained. All AI processing happens on-device in real time and produces no stored output beyond your rep count.
• Local workout history (no-account users): Stored only on your device. We have no access to it and retain nothing server-side. It exists solely on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
• Analytics / usage / behavioural data: Not collected and not retained. We use no analytics tools of any kind.
• Advertising identifiers: Not collected and not retained.

Users without an account: If you use Rep AI without creating an account, we collect no personal data whatsoever and retain absolutely nothing about you on any server.

Firebase (third-party retention): Authentication and cloud backup are handled by Google Firebase. Firebase's own data retention practices are governed by Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. When you delete your account, we issue a deletion request to Firebase immediately, which processes the deletion within their standard timeframe.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app. Locally stored workout data can be deleted by clearing the app's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the app.
